The White Mermaid Cottage is a beautifully restored tiny 18th century Welsh stone, detached courtyard, studio style cottage guarded by a red dragon.
Situated in the heart of Newborough village and a stone’s throw away from Llanddwyn and the forest with plenty of things nearby to enjoy your stay on Anglesey.

Inspired by the surrounding landscape, the White Mermaid Cottage was designed to make your visit a unique, comfortable and rural experience.
The cottage is very compact, with most of the luxuries of a house without having to glamp. Designed in a studio style layout. We know that travelling can be exhausting, so for late arrivals, or lie-ins we offer several local produce hampers to add on to the booking.

We’re happy to allow our guests to bring along a small dog. Please bring their own bed with you, as they are not allowed on any furnishings.

LOCATION
Pleas note this is a rural location. Working farm and adjacent fields with livestock animals, including sheep and cattle.
The main property and outbuildings are still undergoing renovation.

Whether you’re up for a snack or a full meal, our pre-booked hampers offer a selection of local luxury produce. If you are celebrating a special occasion, or specific event there are unique extras for you to purchase prior to your arrival at the cottage.
NEARBY
There’s lots of places and things to do nearby. Stunning forests and beaches, including Llanddwyn Island, the Newborough Red Squirrel Forest and Malltraeth Nature Reserve, all within walking/cycling distance of the Cottage.
Attractions include the “Tacla Taid” Anglesey Transport Museum, and the Anglesey Model Village, both with cafes. Then a short drive to Sea Zoo, Foel Farm and Pili Palas Butterfly and Wildlife Centre. “Trac Môn” Anglesey Circuit and Rhosneigr Sports 10mins.
In the village itself there is a Premier Shop, the White Lion Pub, Codmother Fish & Chips, Red Squirrel Tapas (seasonal).
A short drive within 5-10mins to fantastic local pubs, chinese, kebabs and several award winning restaurants.
